AI in Allied Health- January 2026

Jan 13, 2026

Happy New Year!

I’ve just returned from a short break over the festive period and wanted to send a hello as we head into the year, rather than a full newsletter. January always feels a little in-between; not quite full pace, but not fully stopped either.

This time of year can be a useful moment to pause and take stock, especially when it comes to technology and AI. Many clinicians and businesses I speak to aren’t lacking tools, often we’re juggling too many. More platforms, more prompts, more tabs but not always more value.

Sometimes the most helpful step isn’t adding something new, but reassessing what’s actually supporting your workflow, what’s creating friction or cost and what no longer needs to be there.

This lens of clarity over accumulation and practical and ethical over hype is what I’ll be leaning into more this year across my work.

A quick heads up: I’m currently refining how I package some of my documentation-focused training to make it more implementation-ready. If you’ve been considering the existing on-demand documentation sessions in their current format, they’ll remain available for a short time before being rolled into a new bundle. I’ll share more soon.

More to come once the year properly gets underway.

Jess
